If you are a U.S. student looking for an international study program, start your planning with this directory of programs. The following programs and organizations advertise with Abroad View, and they have created informational pieces about their unique offerings.
When reviewing these programs, consider what you want and need out of your time abroad. Do you have specific academic goals to meet? Do you want to improve a particular foreign language? Are the location, size, and qualifications of a university or field-based program going to suit you? Do you want to live in a dorm or participate in a homestay? Do you want to be in one location or travel to multiple locations.
Once you have considered all the important questions and have weighed them against your research, be sure to talk with someone at your school's study abroad office.
