Closer Look
Teaching English Abroad
Abroad View magazine’s spring 2009 Closer Look section—which explores a thematic topic in-depth—will focus on “teaching English abroad.” The magazine is looking for strong narratives and anecdotal first-person articles from recent college graduates who are currently teaching English abroad or who have completed volunteer or work assignments within the past few years. It is interested in receiving a wide range of regionally focused articles that offer honest and engaging stories with the purpose of providing a realistic look at what it means to be an ESL teacher overseas.
