Art of the World for the World

Work submitted to Abroad View’s art gallery doesn't have to be finished pieces or expert: you can share your work-in-progress and get started building on online portfolio, as long as your work is international in nature. This is not a permanent free gallery—pieces may be removed or replaced on occasion so be sure to keep copies yourself. Abroad View’s art gallery reserves the right not to display submitted art, due to size, content, or other reasons.

Any art you submit must be your own original work, not reproduced from another source (e.g. book, magazine, calendar, or other published material).

To submit your art:

1. Scan or photograph your art. Use your photographic or artistic software to adjust the size and quality (such as brightness and contrast).
Use your software’s sizing tools to reduce the maximum width or height to 500 pixels, and set the resolution to 72 DPI. Save the image as a .gif or .jpg (.jpeg) file. Total file size should be under 400 kb.

You can e-mail your art to webmaster@abroadview.org. Please write “Art gallery submission” in your subject line. Include your contact information, a brief bio about who you are, and a few lines about your artwork.

If your artwork is reviewed favorably, Abroad View will contact you about publishing it on its website or in its magazine. Website publication is unpaid. We will then send you an art release form, but we do not request ownership of your copyright. Your artwork will remain your own to license, reproduce, distribute, publish, etc. as you wish.
