The Art of Impossible Mourning

The Language I Know

A Movement: The Self

In these video poems Piya uses the theory of collage to literally piece together through creative technologies the images and sounds around her in order to express herself. (For example in "The Language I Know," she uses a wall hanging of the Hindu deities, Krishna and Radha to explore the themes of love and faith)
