Meg Young graduated from Middlebury College in 2007 with a degree in Psychology. She studied for a semester in Senegal and then completed an independent study with her peer Kate Leyland, researching the effectiveness of implementing a micro-finance program in conjunction with rabbit rearing in Chengdu, China. She will continue this work with support of the Oxford World Leadership Corps while simultaneously pursuing her master's at The Monterey Institute of International Studies. Meg is passionate about community building and micro-finance and upon completion of her master's will continue consulting on development issues internationally and hopes to bridge the gap between private and public interest on this issue.
